Far East Taco Grille Food Truck Review
Far East Taco Grille serves some very delicious Asian tacos to the lunchtime crowds around Washington. The choose-your-own-adventure menu features 5 steps to create your own tasty taco. First you decide between a corn tortilla or a flour shell. Then you choose from 4 proteins, 4 sauces, 4 slaws and 2 “finishers”. This means you have 256 options! Thankfully, the taco-makers have some useful and delicious recommendations that I advise you take.
Feeling overwhelmed by all my options on my first visit, I went with the recommended tacos. I ordered two pork with spicy mayo, peppers and onion-lime relish tacos ($3 each, 3 for $8) and one chicken with spicy pineapple, zesty chipotle and cheesy crema taco.
I first took a bite of the chicken taco and I thought it was amazing! But then I tried the pork taco, and it just knocked the chicken taco out of the water! The pork was saucy, succulent and sweet. It was just incredible!! The pork taco was spicy, but only slightly so, because even I could handle it. Not only did the pork taco taste good, but it was also a feast for the eyes. Look at those beautiful colors!
The chicken taco was milder in taste overall. The corn added a sweet crunch to the experience. The chicken taco was a solid choice, but the pork taco was just so much better.
